Our Laaniitynkatu location is next-door to an S-Market grocery store. A school, kindergarten and healthcare services are located close-by, as well. Katumajärvi Lake is just around the corner and the apartments in the Pikkuaro building have access to a small forest from the yard. Downtown Hämeenlinna is just three kilometers from Idänpää. Both housing cooperatives have good parking for car-owners and the bus stops nearby, as well. The Hattelmala ridge offers a range of opportunities for outdoor activities. Beyond Avara’s location, the area is primarily made up of small apartment buildings and single-family houses.
In Avara’s Keinusaari apartment buildings, you will live just outside the city center, just half a kilometer from Hämeenlinna railway station. Culture and Congress Center Verkatehdas, which features a cinema, concerts and a theater, is just a couple of minutes away on foot.
