Our apartment buildings in the peaceful Hiironen area were built in the 2000s. They are located approximately five kilometers from downtown Oulu, in the middle of impressing forest landscape. A large grocery store is located just a couple of hundred meters from both Avara locations. If you enjoy exercise, you will be spoiled by the area’s sports park that includes, among others, a football field, a disc golf course, an agility course for dogs and lit skiing and outdoor routes.

Kaijonharju is approximately six kilometers from downtown Oulu and a great choice for a student, as the University of Oulu is within walking distance. The area has lush nature and great hiking paths. Our row houses on Kalervontie have excellent views as they are located on the shores of Lake Kuivasjärvi. Kaijonharju has everything you need in your daily life: a kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools, a library, a health station and a grocery store. The Ideapark shopping mall is ten minutes away by car.

In downtown Oulu, Avara has cozy apartment buildings in Pokkinen, Myllytulli and Vanhatulli. In these locations, you will be within walking and biking distance from all the services of the lively city. Myllytulli locations are less than a kilometer from the city center, yet in a quiet location with excellent possibilities for recreational activities and outdoor exercise nearby. The modern Vanhatulli locations also combine a peaceful park-like environment with the immediate vicinity of the city center services. In our apartment building in Pokkinen, completed in 2000, you will be living in the middle of the city, right by the market place and almost by the seashore.

Our Koskela apartment building is right next to the Niittyaro Housing Fair area that was constructed in the 1970s. This area, surrounded by peaceful and lush nature, has easy access by bike and car to the university as well as the city center, which is approximately four kilometers away. The nearest kindergarten is just a couple of hundred meters away. Forest paths can be accessed from your front door and the Niittyaro outdoor area invites you to exercise and move outdoors. The area’s services, such as a library, a child health center and a shopping mall, are centralized by Koskela School, less than a kilometer from Avara’s location. A versatile grocery store area was built at the beginning of 2000s in Linnanmaa, just an easy bike ride away.

Our location in Oulunsalo, close to the church area, lets you enjoy peaceful living next to good hiking paths, right next to all the daily services. Everything you need, from a library to a school and grocery stores, is just a stone’s throw away. Even traveling is easy from this location as Oulu airport is just two kilometers away. Downtown Oulu is twelve kilometers away and easily accessible by car.

Avara’s rental apartments in Rajakylä

Our location in Rajakylä was built in the 2000s and is situated on a calm street that, apart from the Avara apartment building, mainly has row houses. You can access the forest from your front door, and the Talvikkipuisto Sports Center invites you to exercise, just half a kilometer away. The University of Oulu is a 15-minute bike ride away, so this home is perfect for a student. There are also good connections to the city center, which is ten kilometers away. You do not need to leave Rajakylä to access daily services, as within half a kilometer you can find a school, a kindergarten, a library, R-kioski and two grocery stores.

Avara’s rental apartments in Talvikangas

Avara’s balcony access block in Talvikangas is an excellent choice for families with children or someone who enjoys spending time in the forest. The peaceful neighborhood of small homes was built in the 2000s and is located approximately eight kilometers from downtown Oulu. However, daily services are close-by as you can find a grocery store, a kindergarten and a comprehensive school just half a kilometer away. A lush forest area starts just around the corner from the building. A playground and a sports park are also available nearby.
